The Adventures of Mya and Jordan.             Hiking with Poppop.                   part four the end.

Jordan had thought he had seen it all. Being so high up in the fire tower, above all the trees, he could see everything, but being up in the helicopter was something totally different. Mya and him could see everything possible. They saw houses, roads, and swimming pools, Look Jordan said Mya, a schoolbus. It looks like my toy cars at Poppops house, said Jordan. Mya giggled. They were both feeling better now. They were safe again, and most of all Pop pop had help. As they flew through the sky like a big bird, one of the men was caring for Pop pop. He put a tube into Pop pops arm. The man said that Pop pop was dehydrated and needed fluids. Mya remembered that Pop pop sipped the water and soon after he seemed a little better. What is dehydrated asked Jordan? The man said that is when someone has not drank enough water and his body is shutting down. With the IV tube, and some water, I'm sure your Poppop will be ok.  Over the mountains, over the buildings and roads, over the tiny towns they flew. 
The pilot landed the helicopter on the roof of the hospital. A doctor and a nurse went right over to Poppop. After a couple of minutes the men carried Pop pop off the chopper and onto a bed like stretcher with wheels and rolled him away. Follow me kids said the nurse. Mya and Jordan looked at the helicopter one last time and then followed the nurse through the big doors and into the emergency room. 
Grandma, screamed Mya. Mya and Jordan ran to Grandma and held her tighter than ever. Jordan was crying and trying to tell Grandma what happened. It's ok Jordan, calm down. Everything will be ok. Jordan took a deep breath and then swallowed. As he calmed down, he told Grandma what had occurred in the forest. Mya also told  her accounting of what happened. Ok said Grandma. Let's go see how Pop pop is doing. 
Grandma talked to the doctor. She was asking him all kinds of questions. Jordan and Mya slipped past Grandma and the Doctor and went into Poppop's room. Pop pop was sitting up in the hospital bed. Hey guys said Poppop. Look here. I have water and Juice and Jello for you. No said Mya that is for you. You need the fluids. The man on the helicopter told us you were dry, and that's why you got sick. Alright, maybe you are right said pop pop. Poppop drank all the water, two of the juices, and ate three jello cups. Grandma was back by then. The doctor said you were just dehydrated she told Pop pop, but they still want to keep you here in the hospital overnight for observation. I feel fine now said Pop pop. Thank's to my two hero's. Without Mya and Jordan, I might not be here said Pop pop. I'm sorry kids, that we didn't get to see the sunrise from the mountain. I must have taken the wrong path. Next time I will follow the trail maps. That's ok Pop pop, we saw the sun set, from a helicopter. And as long as you are ok, it is the best day ever. 
Say goodbye to Pop pop said Grandma. Bye Pop pop said Mya. Bye Pop pop said Jordan. We will see you at home when you get out of here. We will tell you the whole story of today. Mya and Jordan followed Grandma to the car. The day had been long and the children were tired. They fell fast asleep as Grandma drove them home.  But, was Poppop really ok?
